About The Artist

Welcome!  I am Cole Yvonne. I am a full time crochet creative and fiber artist. I have been crocheting for 14 years and a self taught seamstress. I started Unique Stitches after a very dear friend of mine encouraged me to share my creations with the world. I have a deep love and passion for turning a simple string of fiber into beautiful, wearable art. Each creation is uniquely crafted to encourage body positivity and promote confidence. I create for all bodies and humans that wish to express their uniqueness through fashion. 

I was 12 years old when I learned how to crochet. My late grandmother, Carol "Me-Maw" Faulkner taught me this amazing craft. Her lives in every single one of my creations. She is a constant motivation for me to carry on her legacy of creativity.

Unique Stitches was created in July of 2015. I started off making crochet crop tops and swimwear. Later I added accessories such as handbags, earrings, and barefoot sandals. My recent creations have expanded to shorts, dresses, pants, skirts, bucket hats and more! I also have been exploring sewing and teaching myself to sew and combine that skill with my love of crochet.
